I remember the first time I heard about making homemade dog food. To be quite honest, when I first heard about it, I was kind of grossed out. But, after years of education and wisdom, I have come to find that homemade dog food isn’t that far off from our homemade food. Granted, I’d rather have my house with the aroma of spaghetti sauce or Basmati Rice rather than chicken/liver homemade dog food. Anyway, enough digressing.
Homemade dog food is a huge hit among dog owners. It saves money, it’s healthier, and it’s more than likely tastier for the dog consuming the food when it comes from Mom or Dad.

In our home, we always purchased natural dog food, because of what it contains. However, we don’t have to tell you how expensive it becomes purchasing natural dog food. On a more personal note, my dog has food allergies. A couple of the food allergies he has is unfortunately common in generic dog food. Thus, this was the reason for inspiring me to write this article; we had to begin feeding him natural dog food.
